The WB crew will be there in force.
I'm thinking around 12-15 people that have said they would show and hoping for more.

I guess you guys will have to do some recruiting (if you know what I mean  ) before that appointment will be added to the board of directors. I will help out in any way I can. :D

It was great to see the large turnout for our first meeting!
Thanks to everyone who showed up and put their two cents worth in.
Although there are a lot of questions that need to be answered, I feel we are on the right track.

Moving forward to the items of the next meeting, think about who you would like in the initial leadership roles or group. Also think about club names. IMO, we need to get the club structure settled before we tackle any of the projects that were brought up.

I hope everyone has or will read the information you were handed at the meeting. A lot of it pertained to structure and, to me, this is the most important focus we have right now. Personally, I would like to know what positions will be created and are open before nominations can be submitted to fill them. I know we have had some members come forward with interest in being in a leadership role and applaud all that do. But, if we don't have positions defined, we may be putting someone with great skills in a certain area in the wrong seat on the bus so to speak.

So, what if we each come up with a leadership structure that we would like to see and discuss that in the next meeting. Then, the interested people can decide where in the leadership group they want to put there name in the hat for.

I know I may sound anal with this structure talk but I think it is very important to a successful club and hope you all do too.

Decision time people.
The Starlight meeting room is booked up on Tuesday the 9th which was the date we were next to meet.
I have booked the room for this coming Tuesday, the 2nd but if that is too soon, the 16th is also open.
Let me know if it needs changed or does anyone have another place to meet?

I think it fizzles out when you need to get registered as a 503c non profit. this takes a lawyer and an accountant. stibs has the know how to get that done, however, i don't think we really need to do that.

i have a bank acct open in my name for league, i'm sure doug does too for 5 seasons. interest doesn't pay shiz right now so it's not like the money is making anything, and even if it did i wouldn't care about claiming it.
Adding up scores after league... Greco-"Kerri, you shot 11 up" Kerri- "oh a 65 isn't bad" Greco-"that was the back nine"
