Best Large Bag

Postby anubis080 » Tue Jan 12, 2010 9:04 pm

I am looking for a recommendation on a new disc golf bag that can hold at least 15 discs minimum.

Honestly, I am not sure if I will go back to Innova for another bag. I had mine for a year with Quadshox on it and the part where the quadshox attaches to broke today. I do not know much about this area of the field so any advice would be great on an ultra durable bag that will last a few seasons!

Revolution makes the best bags IMO. Google revolution disc golf and you'll find it.

If you want a large bag...get yourself a Revo Dual Pack. You can fit close to 40 disc's in it if you wanted to.

The new Innova Bags are much better than the old ones. Innova no longer makes them, they are made by Hero Disc Golf out of Japan .... their quality, IMO, is equal to the Revolution bags. Also I'm not a huge fan of the small circular opening on the Revo bags.

Innova Discarrier - Holds 20-25 discs - $70

Innova Competition Bag - Holds 18-20 discs - $55

Revolution Carolina Team Bag - Holds 12-14 discs - $125

AGREE. Ive had mine for close to 3 years now and not one rip, chucked up zipper, or any seams coming undone. If you want quality you gotta $$
My only gripe is that there isnt a small pocket inside the big ones but thats easily fixable if you know someone who can do it, i.e a tailor

Wow, those Revolution bags look amazing, but their price is through the roof! $125 is out of my price range right now, but I love the rust colored one. I think I'll save up my money starting now to get one when good season starts!

Does anyone know if Iron Lion has a good supply to compare in person against? I will be going there sometime this week to grab some new plastic at least.

If you are referring Revo bags...I would guess no. About the only place to get a Revo bag is through their site. There are a few other sites that have started carrying them though(Prime Disc's, GGGT, MSDGC to name a few).

I absolutely love my Innova Discarrier bag.
Lots of extra pockets and space, best bag I've ever owned.

You can also look into Phenix and Gorilla Boy Bags. Phenix has the Line X coating on the bottom of the bag so should never tear.

Chase has a few of the Innova bags and a few of the Fade bags. If your strapped for cash the Fade bags arent bad. I have the small one that they make and it has held up well.

I also have a Revo Back Pack for tournaments. The Revo is great but it is cumbersome when you dont need more then a few discs.

Those Gorilla Boy bags look pretty nice, and for a good price! 20 holder for 75, but most of the colors are sold out.

My main thing that I am looking for is sturdy hookups for quad shocks. Innova ones just shredded the other day. The material that was holding the D-rings on the bag just completely tore off...
