Why do you hate it so much? I've played it several times and thought the shots were reasonably fair and the course was pretty challenging. Better than Shaver Park.

I thought it was lots of unrealized potential the 2 times I played it. Trees, elevation and lots of both. There are some good shots out there, but it could be much better. There are some dangerous situations as well.

I'll bet it's muddy. A course with such steepness is bound to get sloppy and eroded when it's wet.

It's an alright course :) . But I don't live in Dapuke(thank god) 8) .

I suggest talking to the park board around your area and tell them your concerns about the ground getting torn up  . Maybe they will pull the corse and the Q.C. can buy your baskets on e-bay for $50 and we'll have another kick a$$ course you can drive 1 1/2 hours to play here   .

they really should break it up into 2 diff 9 holes somewhere else, becuase the location is just terrible. havin to play it more than once in your life is just boring as the location is just terrible. think of downhill and uphill? skiing as you play disc golf. very annoying. no water shots eityher!!! i mean comeone, we all need a little cartoon mario golf crazy ness sometime, insteads of water like (MOUNT CARROL!!!!! luv it) we have daunting slopes of brush yay.

Word on the street is Dbq is putting a "recreational" 9-hole course in at vets park on the other side of the parking lot when the gates are open. I believe it'll be located between the kiddy swings and teeball diamond. Sounds more like your style Marty67. Yeah the existing course has its flaws but playing it might make you a better player.

Is this the course by Hempstead? I don't even know if I am talking about the same course. If so, good elevation and nice shots. There are some tricky pin placements but overall not a bad course.

The course is by Walhert, I have played this course a few times as my wife is from DBQ. It has a lot of nice features just some of the holes are right on top of each other. I couldn't imagine playing the course when it is busy. I lived in CF/Wloo for a long time so any type of elevation was a nice change of pace. Yes, it could be a lot better but at least the city has a course. It is hilly and a little rough but overall any day walking in the woods and throwing a disc is a good day.

I'm not joking about the rec course. My entire heritage is from Dubuque and involved with city council and there's been recent discussion about it. I've noticed subtle changes to course each time I get up there to play it. Course will get fixed up over time like most. Move a few tees and baskets, cut a few trees and that course could be awesome. Has anyone noticed they rounded off all distances to nearest 25 feet? Wierd!

a 9 hole would be awesome since a small town like clinton can have 3 i think we should be able to have more than one "piece of shit" course. hopefully they make it all <100 ft holes so i can go there with a diaper on and cry when i cant reach the hole and go kill my self to make all you people happy since you assume thats how i play. QC 4 LIFE NuCkA. you girls are so hard.
