I don't know how I missed this, but it was pointed out to me:
As big of a girl as I am, I did not make up any sort of par out at Folletts. Now, that being said...if you've ever seen any of the inbred "people" that occasionally "play" disc golf out there you wouldn't be all that suprised at par 6's. Actually, you'd probably wonder why that number isn't higher. I'm assuming those pars were creatively invented during one of their methamphedamine [sp] hangovers.
Or, ask Mark Roberts, as he was the course designer...but I'm fairly positive he was sober.
As for the course, as boring of terrain as it is on, and how much room there is to work on...that course is very well designed and set up. Ignore the tee sign pars (as you should anyway), and enjoy shooting the lowest Iowa round you'll probably ever shoot.
