yeah, but nobody should be playing the short tees for the handicapped formula to work correctly. The fact that she played the shorts and won proves that.

Yeah to make that work you have to have a whole other division of people playing the shorts. or you have to find someway of adjusting the handicaps for those playing the short pads

Well Im glad someone pointed this out, my balls were too small to rock the boat but now that someone said it, I pretty much agree. I know at Grandview a couple weeks back I would have had to of shot 18 under or something silly like that to of won. Not a big deal though, its just league. I use this as a training tool on how to slow down my game anyways...even though it doesnt work.

You guys are looking at this all wrong. This is not bushwhacker golf and you are not playing each other head to head.
The way you win in this kind of system is to consistently play better than you have before. You are playing against your previous scores not my previous scores. Fausch is playing the best I have ever seen him play in the second half of this season and low and behold he's in second place.
If anything Mindy had a distinct disadvantage when we played Colfax because we were all on the same tees. If I had her play longs at Walnut and Ewing and shorts everywhere else, yes that would FUK everything up. But as long as she is always playing the same tees it changes nothing.

it's all good. I didn't get to play Tuesday league but a handful of times this year, and was thankful when I got to. (to Joe and my wife, lol). That being said, I'm not standing to come close to winning anything, regardless of how the system worked out, I was just sayin'.

I had a great time last night playing with Kyle and Mindy. I also owe a "you were right" to Joe Cool who said we could get the round in from the longs when I though there was no chance but sure enough it worked out. Good call Joe.

Lost and Found

Postby Sidearm » Wed Aug 26, 2009 11:01 am

Joe & Parker,
I found my Destroyer on hole #17 this morning. It was about 15 feet closer to the pin than we were looking. I guess I learned a hard lesson about throwing a dark red disc at dusk. Oh well, at least I will get to spend some more time with "Sally".

We have a new leader. Week 10 Singles Standings

Glad to here you found your disc Dave. It was nice of you to take the "Sally" Tag from me but when I gave you a 7 for that hole to arrive at your score you beat me by 2.
