I'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

Jonah Smith at The Flying Mango next Monday.

I remember this guy from somewhere, I've had one of his songs on my Mp3 for about 2 years and I really like it. It's soul/jazz/whatever.

I've never been to the Mango, nor could I see going to it for a show beings how it looks fairly small. This must be like a dine and listen type deal. Maybe I should find a date.

Once again, the metal head responds. I probably would enjoy some of the groups you guys are mentioning (especially with a beer or seven). Howver, I cannot wait until tomorrow night at Wells Fargo. Probably one of the last chances to catch Motley Crue and the picked a couple of solid openers. I've seen both Hinder and Theory of a Deadman three times each. Theory of a Deadman kicks ass live and despite some cheesy songs, Hinder kicks it pretty good too. This will make the 6th time I've seen Motley Crue and I've never been disappointed.

Not sure if any of you guys are into hard.... melodic rock, but these guys are playing at peoples on 8/8. Should be excellent, I saw them @ tast of chaos a couple years back in NE and it was quite memorable.

King's X tonight at People's. These guys put on one of the best live shows that I have ever seen.

I have been counting down the days to rock out.

I'm in for sure Friday! Trying to get some pre-party plans together. El Bait Shop or maybe the Underground since it's close to the amphitheater.

It's a ways off, but Tanner tipped me off to Meat Puppets coming to Vaudeville Mews on Nov. 8. Love those guys. We should get a group together to go. Dead Confederate is going to tour with them earlier, but not in DM I guess. Too bad.

Weird serendipity. A live Keller song came on my ipod, just as I was reading this.

GWAR?! Our Lords and Masters? That's the one we should get a group together to see.
