Pin locations

I moved #6 basket to the A pin placement.
Since the extra holes are pulled right now, it will save some steps back to #7 tee pads.

Current layout is "A" except for 2C, 4B, 7B, 11C, 13B, 14B & 17C. I weed whacked 3, 4 & 12 today. 13 and 14 are on deck for tomorrow.

I talked to a guy yesterday that couldn't find the basket on 2C. He must not have looked too hard. But for those who can't find it, it is 130ft past the A pin deep behind 3 pad. I'm having more fun throwing at it than the other 2 positions. 8) Thanks to Kelly for convincing me to clean up the right side. That route is perfect for my upshot.

Not much convincing for us guys who can't throw up to the A pin.
This gives us old guys a route to the pin but it still takes a helluva shot to get it there.

I don't know how anyone could miss that basket placement.
The fareway is weedwhacked right to it.
The basket is right of the A pin as you look up the fareway but once you get to the A pin I guess you could say it is behind it once you look to the right.
If my Bro ever gets the signs routed, I can paint and poly them and get them out there so people will have a better idea on 2C & 4B.

You would have to be an idiot not to figure out where the new 2B is. Maybe if you closed your eyes once you got close to the A position then you would miss it. I like the new pin positions. And thanks for all the hard work out there guys.

Thanks Dustin (it is Dustin right?) and I think you mean 2C as the B position is still the same.
I guess if someone never played the course before I might be able to see someone missing it but.....

I moved 12 to the B spot yesterday. The trees are cleaned up enough to make a nice hazard to throw over or under. I plan to clean more but will leave the big stuff.

I'm keeping the current layout on DG Course Review.

For anyone wanting to visit the course it's a good way to get a preview before you go.

cool, thanks for the pics. 14 looks a little crazy off the tee. I like how the sign is pasted into the tee pictures, that's really convenient. Wish I had done that with our local courses.

The great part is I don't even know who posted the pics. It saved me some work. They were taken not long after the storm so things look better now. Most of the broken trees are gone except for #12.

The pictures really don't give visual justice IMO.
The amount of elevation and depth of some of the fairways does not show up very well. You really have to be there to get the full effect.
