2 New Driver Molds

Postby SpikeHyzer » Thu Apr 23, 2009 10:03 am

I have received two new driver protos from Gateway. They are called the Savage and the Apache(reused the name). I will have them out at BW League tonight and I will have them down at Lamoni as well. If you are interested in testing them out, let me know.

Here are the numbers that I would give them based on their flight patterns:

Savage
Speed: 8
Glide: 4
Turn: 0
Fade: +2

Apache
Speed: 8
Glide: 4
Turn: -1
Fade: +1

These two disc's are very similar in look and feel. They are also being ran in Gateways new Clear Evolution plastic. If you have not seen this yet, it is very durable and very flexible.

Dave had like 500 of the Savage's down at Bowling Green (just off the press too)  , he said it was like an Orc/Wraith I think.

I know a couple guys from DSM bought them, I should have got one just to say I had one of the 1st ones, oh well.

They are nothing like an Orc or Wraith in my opinion. They are nowhere near as fast as either of those two disc's. I would liken them to something like a faster TB and TL combo.

I think he said T-Bird as well, it was like 3-4 discs he compared them to.
