i am coming from out of town and going to be passing through Des Moines. I have never played any course in DSM and was wondering what the best coarse was to play?

I would probably play Big Creek at this point in the season. It is probably the least muddy of the main 4 courses. The others to check out would be Ewing, Walnut or Pickard.

Either Big Creek or Walnut, but walnut you have to walk in because its "closed" for the winter. Its well worth the walk though.
