Saturday after Thanksgiving

Postby SpikeHyzer » Wed Nov 15, 2006 10:25 am

So...I was wondering what people thought of getting some players together to head up to Ames the Saturday after Thanksgiving for a little bit of dg. Maybe play $5 a head and play one round at CM and one at ISU?! Any thoughts? And it doesn't have to be $5 a head...hell we can all just go up and play for fun too. Maybe hit up Battle's between rounds. Jay...I know you would be in for some more Battle's.

So...throwing this out there to see if we can get something organized.

Later,
JT

I'm in if we get back from the QC by then. And yes, Battles will be revisited. 8)

I may be able to come up for one round and lunch. I'm closing sat night so I've got unfortunately limited time. Keep me posted

Count me in. You know that I have been itching to get up there all year. Do we have a time set yet? I wouldn't mind leaving at 8:00. Possibly get three rounds in. 2 in the morning and one after lunch. :D I think skins would be nice.

Well...I was thinking about leaving at 8:00'ish. It will kind of depend on how many we get as to how many rounds we can get in.

So...as of right now...we have Steve and myself going...and maybe Scott and Jay.

Anybody else? If anything...Battle's is worth the trip alone.

I'm tentatively "in". We're supposed to be in town, but I'm not sure if we're having our day with my parents then or not.

I can taste the disc golf. I haven't tasted Batle's yet. It sounds like I am in for a treat. I love bbq.

A little bbq and some disc golf...that's a way to spend a day.

Rock on...here's my thinking...

Meet at Carroll Marty around 10:00. Get one round in, then hit up Battle's. Then go play a second round at ISU. And if time allows maybe another round.

Any thoughts?

I'm up for earlier, if anybody else is. If we get there at 8:30 or 9, Megan and Scott might be able to squeeze two in.

But whatever, I'm down, and I need a ride.
