We will be moving our work days to Saturday mornings, as soon as daylight savings hits, in October.

Thanks doug, however, we are moving the worknights/days to saturday mornings in late october, once the tournament season winds down. (i was wrong on the exact timing of daylight savings, but close enough)

we will post what date we'll start saturday morning work days when we decide that.

Partially Open

Postby prodiscgolf » Wed Oct 01, 2008 10:34 am

Due in large part to a small number of people, the Peninsula course is partially playable. Holes 1-10 and 18 are mowed (thanks in large part to the string trimming crew). We will need to work on the other 7 holes, but if people want to play in the woods, you're welcome to head out there.

After seeing how early it got dark last night, we may not be able to have more than an hour out there at the next scheduled work night in two weeks. I'd propose that we start Saturday work days sooner than later.

According to the calendar, Oct 12 is RCR and Oct 19 is Ottumwa. Any thoughts from the crew?

the question is, who IS planning on playing in those tournaments?

I'm not.

I plan on being hungover the 11th, we're celebrating my bday the night before.

Other than that, I'm available any other Saturday in October.

I'm going to compete as often as possible this month, so Saturdays I may not be there. But I'll go on my own time probably.

Great news! We now have a metal sign post in the middle of 18 fairway, about 50 ft directly in front of the short tee! :?:
