2008 Norwalk Rec Disc Golf League (Fall)

Postby DBo » Tue Sep 02, 2008 10:51 pm

tough day today. I threw OB twice on hole 12, I don't think I've ever done that before, took a 7 on it. Pretty happy ending up at +5 though, thank God my putter was coming through for me cuz I couldn't seem to do anything else right! I guess I haven't really noticed it hasn't been very windy lately, cuz playing with the wind today seemed really difficult.

It really hadn't been windy up until Tuesday... Wow, now I don't feel bad for my circle 6 on 12 myself! There's the 1 stroke dirrerence between our scores there - hole 12. I took an untrusted, new star wraith 175, and put hyzer on it like i usually do when gunning thru the trees. that thins picked up, and seemed to exponentially increase its speed from right to left, landed on the damn road & skipped another 50' to the other ditch! Also turned a couple deuces into 4's - those were my only problems.

Note: when putting in the wind, go for the top of the cage. it'll either miss high & go in, ot hit cage & fall right there. Don't risk a blow-by, or getting pushed by the wind. LMAO!

Isn't Russ that Jr High kid?????????? Good for you for kicking his ass........ That should teach him not to play with a 46 yr old. I knew you had it in you

I think you have Russ confused with someone else - he's your age.

You should really be more respectful of your elders

As for the junior high kid...I don't trust anyone under the age of 30!

No telling when Jason will get the scores posted  I know he's been busy and working out of town lately so I'll give him a break...

As for last night...

Hat's off to Nick for posting his best score ever on the course with a +1. He had a chance to get to even but...well...these thing happen! Great round!

Also, GREAT JOB to Glen for his BEST EVER round of disc golf! He just started playing a little over a month ago and lowered his best ever score by 10 STROKES! Congratulations!

I'm not sure about the other groups, but our group gave our score card to Rob again.

I think you are missing at least 1 card from week 4, I think that was the week that I played with Joey and Andy, we gave that score card to Rob also.
