New seasonal fav is Pete's Wanderlust, It's a creme ale, reminds me of a black and blue.

I am thinking about a small keg (5-8 gallon) frig which will come in handy on league night. Just keep a two liter bottle handy, and fill it up before league. I understand 42nd and Univ has four pages of kegs to choose from, many of the beers mentioned here.

I'm thinking of one of those hats with the can holders on each side with a siphon hose that comes down to your mouth.

I'm thinking we need to just hire a beverage cart girl like they have on golf courses. Seriously, the club could buy a few cases, rent a cart (actually I'm sure someone has one), sell the beer for $2.50 a piece... damn I'm good

This is probably the best idea I've had yet today. More to come.

I wonder if that one girl still works at the taco place in Polk City.

Mmmm, taco night in Polk City. So good for so many reasons.

The beverage of choice at the Gamecock tailgate was Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, making its first appearance of the season. I'll have to give it another tasting in a more controlled setting, but it was delicious.

Home from the game at 1:00am, up at 6:00am with the pork butt on the smoker by 6:30am. Let's see, 12 hours of watching football and watching racing and stoking the smoker fire. Yeah, that may call for a beer or 3.

Sam Adams Winter Sampler 12-pack purchased last night.

2 each of:
- Old Fezzwig Ale
- Holiday Porter
- Winter Lager
- Dark Lager
- Cranberry Lambic
- Boston Lager

Had the Fezzwig last night. I'd forgotten it from last year. It is a spiced holiday ale. Fairly meh, but I was drinking it from the bottle and was distracted, so I'll give the 2nd one a more proper tasting.

In other news, I met a local homebrewer at v-ball who shared some of his personal Pumpkin Ale last night. I'm not huge on Pumpkin beer, but this stuff was pretty good. He's sending the recipe, and I plan to make it this season. I've seen pumpkin recipes in the homebrew shop before, but never made one as I was skeptical of being able to (easily) produce a quality pumpkin homebrew.

Im loving these winter/sample packs. Walked into Regal the other day and there were about 7 or 8 different brands to choose from. Took me about 20 minutes to decide on one.

My favorite Seasonal Flavored brew is Leinenkugel's Apple Spice. Great brew for those non-wine drinkers to enjoy with those huge feasts that are on the horizon.
