Just wait till you see Brandon Wehger next year. Committed to Iowa a few weeks ago. In his first 2 games this year he has over 600 yards rushing and 8 TD. Will pr polly set the record for most rushing yards in a season in the state of Iowa.

Oh and Stanzi did pretty dang good today.

Wow Grant, that's a big slot to fill... Esp considering the person who holds the record is still Tavian, right?!

(bettendorf grad)

Dustyn Baethke from Williamsburg ran for 3109 yards in 2002. Tavian is 17th all time.

I think its evident now that Stanzi is the starter. The crowd was chanting his name at the beginning and even when Cristensen went in they were chanting for Stanzi, after they got done booing Jake.

I heard that the Hawks went from a one point favorite over the Clowns to a 21 point favorite solely based on the QB change

Sorry Aaron, I wasn't aware, w/ your ghey Spankees Avatar... 8) Besides, I knew without a doubt that the three i mentioned were homers - I don';t just go calling anyone a homer, unless I kinow it's true. Consider the mistake corrected! :P

I have no problem w/ them... They're easy to give a bad nickname to though. It's NEVER too early or late to change to a hawkeye avatar, man!

Whats up with playing teams like FIU and padding your record? Was Davenport Central busy that day?
