Good Job Jason!

I'm sure everyone had a good time...really! I know I did. I know you did a lot of work and I just wanted to say thanks. Played a quick round this morning and can report the park looks great with no trash or glow sticks or anything laying around.

Thanks to everyone that played and I am looking forward to the next one.

I've already got my notes jotted down about what went well, what did not, and have a to-do list of notes for next year as well, so that I can keep happening in the right orders...

RESULTS:

OK, what a killer turnout for a first-ever tournament, let alone a glow event in Norwalk!!! We had 21 people pre-registered before the glow, and ended up with 30 people playing! BIG thanks to Beerman & Wiley for getting a crew together to surprise me - that was awesome!

PRIZES:

We had 6 CTP prizes. CTP will note below who won them
We had about 12 winners on Ring of Fire
Ace Fund: No one hit it. Had a CTP drive-off on hole 1, Joe Wiley spiked to win 1/2 of the $ in the throw off, rest goes to the Park dept for next year.

In all, we gave away:
30 Discraft stickers
3 Discraft towels
2 Discraft hats
5 Discraft shirts
6 Champion & Z discs

SCORES:

48 - Jeremy Baker (Mens Winner)
50 - Gary Lehmur
52 - Jason Williamson
52 - Mikal (putter) Williams
53 - Jason Thompson
54 - Dan Baker
56 - Jared Strong
56 - Jason Kruger
57 - Dave Alfstad
57 - Rusty Murl
57 - Joe - Wiley
57 - Dave Beery
57 - Nick Wendt
58 - Tom Marean
60 - Andrew Houser
61 - Nicholas Burch
62 - Matt Melcher
62 - Dan Metivier
63 - Mike Hanson
66 - Pat Smith
67 - Matt Hill
70 - James Jordan
71 - Gale Means (Womens Winner)
75 - Leah Calvert
76 - Lindsey Wendt
76 - Amanda Zuck
77 - Amanda Beery
82 - Ron Calvert
82 - Shelly Beery
97 - Tammy Hildebrand

In all, I think this event was a major success besides some minor issues, including: A new TD running around & not asking for enough help in preparation, a little issue on meat prep distracting me from TD'ing (thought i had plenty of time), and getting the order of events a little out of whack. THanks to everyone for bearing with me on everything. The potluck was a success. People brought more than enough food, and we wound up with people not eating it all. It's ok though, there was enough for all who wanted food. Some good dessert bars, my grilling, salads, and much more - made this potluck really solid. I plan on keeping this format again next year. Next year I'll ask someone to grill for me though. I already have a couple of volunteers from my good buddies here in Norwalk, and next year - look for a much better ran tourney, and even better prizes!!! Thanks to everyone for coming make this a good event, and I'm just so proud that a lot of people who may not have had a chance to see a glow event had the chance. I look forward to doing it again next year! W00t! 8)

Yeah he was saying that too and how the colors were the same and then someone said something about the T and he came up with that.

Are you still going to challenge him for the 20 bucks

What was that about? It must have happened after we got done with our round and you and Joe went back to walk around with the rest of the DSM crew.

I was talking about Joe and Dave jabbing each other after the round about Dave saying he was a B player and tied an A player and then Joe told him that he would play him any course any time for 20 bucks, it was pretty funny
