This is a first time players course at best. I give Story City kudos for putting in a DG course, but this one is a joke. Holes are too short and easy to birdy (if you play everything a par 3). The best part about this course is hole 7 I believe where you have to tee off accross the Skunk River, but it is only about 50 to 60 feet, so you really don't even need a dese drive off of it to pass the water. The first time I played this course I got a -5 on this 9 hole course.

Bottom line: It is an easy course that is too short and can be played in about 20 min with 2 ppl.

Not everyone wants to play a really tough course. The course isn't a joke, it's short because there isn't that much room to work with. I don't mind going up there to play a few rounds and stroke my ego. And, you can't really expect to have a town of 3000 put up the most impressive course.

I don't know anything about this course (with the exception of the first post), but Nims sounds like it could be similar, and lots of people love that course.

Use it to work on your short game. 1 disc only, perhaps a putter.

It has a couple of interesting shots. There's an unfortunate area where holes conflict with each other, but there's not usually a lot of people playing out there.

I'm pretty sure that there are plans to put another 9 holes in the field south of the course and in the woods a bit.
