Fat Tire / Volunteers Celebration - July 20th - Camden II

Fat Tire / Volunteers Celebration - July 20th - Camden II

Postby Sprague » Mon Jul 14, 2008 2:55 pm

Registration Starts @ 8 AM
$10 Entry Fee (Volunteers for Camden II)
(Non Volunteers = $50 - extra money goes toward food, beer, and payout)

9:30 Players Meeting

10 AM Start Time

Round 1 - Blind Doubles Best Disc (New! Par 54 layout!)

Round 2 - Best Shot (Original Par 60 layout)

Blind Doubles Best Disc: Play the first round singles, @ lunch we will take the top 1/2 of the scores and randomly pair them with the bottom 1/2 of the scores. You will be given a new team score card. Compare your rounds, taking the best score for each hole between you and your partner as your team score for that hole. Example: You get a 2 on hole 1 and your partner took a 5 - your team score on hole 1 for the first round is a 2. If you both took a 5, your team score would be a 5.

Lunch and a Keg of Fat Tire Beer will be provided by Paul Roesner
Bring your own water and sodas.

New Belgium Brewing has donated Fat Tire Flyers and some other fun stuff! PappaRoc from Burlington has donated a couple of Teeshirts! Iron Lion gear CTP's will be available to win! and much more...

So if you've helped work on Camden II - here's your chance to reap the rewards and have a fun day of laid back golf with your friends!!!!

See ya out there Sunday! 8)

I hope the Iowa City Crew has Sunday open!

Any volunteers who can't make it out for the Tournament format are still welcome to come out and celebrate! Spot, heckle, deliver growlers and food by lama or something...that'd be cool.

Sounds like fun, sorry I can't make it...I'll be hiking in the Oregon Cascades and drinking Hammerhead and Black Butte Porter. :D

Maybe Mike the Ax can guzzle my share of Fat Tire. Enjoy!

My wife would probably not approve if I gave you her ticket. Seeing as its our 15th anniversary trip and all.

But just in case I happen to "accidentally" find some discs in my luggage...is Dexter a good course?

I won't be able to play the tourney, but I'll be able to come around 5 and drink.
I play the game, but I don't keep score. I can't win or lose.

Whoa... how in the world did you swing that one? Guess I'll have to use that for ammo, in case my wife tries to curb my fun.

Impressive....I'm still trying to find an ammo that doesn't backfire in those situations.

Patty's cool with this kind of stuff and doesn't get all hung up on specific dates and such.
