Re-design/new holes

Re-design/new holes

Postby dischawk » Mon Jun 16, 2008 12:22 pm

There have been four extra holes added and one was taken out so its now a 12-hole course. Does anyone know who added the holes or who came up with the new holes?

I noticed the extra pads last week. Are the new baskets in? Which hole was removed?

Hole 4 got removed (the real short dinker hole that paralleled the road). I think they took 4's pad and moved it to 7 and made a short pad, although its not really that much shorter.

Yea new baskets are in and the 4 new holes are all on the west part of the course near the park entrance. These holes help improve the course flow because you actually end at the parking lot now instead of having to walk up the large hill after getting done with number 9. There are no signs in or numbers on the new baskets but after you play them once its pretty easy to figure out.

Yes, a (shorter) 400ish ft easily reachable hyzer now. The new holes after the (old) hole 9 are GREAT additions to the course that actually make the course worth playing now.

Also, the old hole #7 has a new pad that is a tad higher and about 60 feet shorter, making it a reachable 450ish. The old pad is still there but is pretty pointless to play now.

Just crushed this course with a 7 down, for sure an "unofficial" record, with two missed 20 footers of course for a 9 down, good luck beating it anyone. You get out there yesterday Kenton?

I did. I like the new holes. Playing the road (and across) OB makes it more interesting. I also like the new stream crossing and the stream diversion the've done out there.

I just started playing disc golf last week and have played this course twice. It is a fun course, but it would be helpful if the signs were updated. Hole numbers and yardage would be nice. My first time there, I had to ask several times where the next whole was, especially since there is no hole 5.

I played out there last weekend...must have missed the new pad on old 7. Played the old one. I almost got your 7 down. I got a 6 down. Missed the easy deuces on new holes 7 & 8(Old 8 & 9)

I would say that all holes are now reachable out there...that is if old 7 has a new shorter pad.

I didn't even realize there are 2 pads for old 7. I'll have to check and see which one I am throwing from if I go play there this afternoon.
