basket

Postby RedBird88 » Fri Jun 13, 2008 2:07 pm

3's basket is crumpled over. Its hard to tell if its damaged or just been pulled out of the ground. Have to let the water go down a bit first...

We should get over there soon before the disc thief takes it and we find it on Ebay.

basket

Postby RedBird88 » Thu Jun 19, 2008 8:26 am

With the obvious damage to the basket on #3 @ Eastern, does anyone have a contact name with the Davenport parks dept. to see about getting the pole replaced? Also, there's been discussions off and on about moving the basket away from the ever moving creek bank. Any thoughts on a new location for the pin or everyone want it back where it was?

not sure about the contact info but Ron was talking about going down to the public works building and seeing what they might say.

With the creek bank pushing in further and further with each storm, I think the pin needs to be moved back into the woods a bit. It'll remain a good risk/reward hole and still allow for a big anhyser over the trees or hyzer over the creek for a deuce.

It's too bad seeing the basket like that. It's my favorite hole at Eastern.
I play the game, but I don't keep score. I can't win or lose.
