The latest runs are quite a bit more "straight stabl" with more of a fade at the end. The protos wore in fairly quickly and became flippy after just a few tree smacks. I still recommend at least trying one out. The black one's and the blue one's are the most stable with late fade.

I agree with the black ones being more stable, but i dont think the blue is, at least not the matzen stamped ones.

my blue matzen one is actually pretty flippy but if I throw it with lots of hyzer I can get it to stay almost stable. the black one I have I can't hardly flip at all throwing it on a hyzer. But it flips right over if I throw it flat. I think the black ones will be where it is at if once they beat in.

No, Id at least try one. I can throw them like a Roadrunner and they go about 400, and hold a low hyser line. If I throw them hard, I need alot of room, as they move far to the right. They will usaully come back hyser in the end, if theres enough height.

They really arent bad discs at all. I liken them to the Pro Orc, in the sense that if you threw it at 90-95% you were probably flipping it. If you throw it at 70-75% your getting more consistent distance.

Its a good disc, but it wont make my bag until its in some beefier plastic. Like the Sabre plastic.

Well being a gateway fan, i would have to say that you sould try one out. They are flippy if you throw all line drive shots with no hiezer. But if you can thow the shot with some altitude(not attitude) and alittle "h"let it work from left to right, and when this disc turns right slightly and its nose turns down....it picks up speed and penatrates forward without the drop off to the left immediatly.....this is the first one piece disc that has been stable to slightly understable to come out of the Gateway/Quest factory so far, it is awesome....soon to have at least 8 new discs in the near future....

After learning how to throw this disc correctly, I have changed my perspective. This is the only disc I've ever thrown that picks up speed on the way down. I have to say this is a pretty good driver off the tee if you have a lot of room to work with, especially up.

I've been throwing some pretty good rollers with these things. understable enough that they flip over, stable enough you can get on it and not flip it upside down.

I now carry two Infernos in my bag, I am obliterating these things when there is no wind. I'm talking 500' accurate airshots...it's nasty.

Unfortunatley, this is true. I've seen them.
