NAME CAMDEN II

NAME CAMDEN II

Postby Sprague » Tue Apr 29, 2008 9:45 pm

Thought it would be good to start tossing some names around!

Camden Gold (has a World Class feel)
Milan Monster (appropriate)
Mo Valley (Mo has more hours on the course than anyone but me!)
Burning Oak (not really - just appropriate)

just a couple of ideas...

Here are some others floating around.

Since nothing seriously damaging became of it.... I think Burning Oak is a cool name. Or maybe Fallen Oak because of all the huge trunks criss-crossing the layout and creeks.

favorites so far...

Camden Gold
The Dark Side
Fallen Oaks (Hall and Oats)

Maybe there is a historical name attached to the woods before Camden came along. Might be worth investigating.

the deuce sounds like crap...

I think a classy name is deserving for this course.

Lame is pretty strong...gold has always been attached to courses with a higher difficulty.

I like Camden Woods Swan - has nice ring to it. The Woods Course.

Talked to Dave Pannell today - not aware of any other name than Camden.

Shadow Run -
Oak Hills -
Thorn Ridge - might scare people away

Totem Valley - plan is to make Totems out of the dead oaks/walnuts

also there are plans to have covered bridges - BTW 2 bridges were built today!!!!!
