WORK DAY on back course

WORK DAY on back course

Postby peyton » Tue Apr 10, 2007 11:17 am

I will be here on Sunday (April 15) no matter what the weather. I am going to try and have a riding lawn mower to cut the grass once before the growing season starts again. Mainly the open field part in the way back. I am trying to change a few holes for this year's tournament, if anyone cares to get there two cents in.
I will also try and set up another 4 holes on the west side of the creek, just in case we can't cross over. I know I have 3 fairly large trees to clear down there and some of our bridge building material is in the water down stream. Thank the local kids for that.
I will try and be there by 10am. I probably will drive back there so the gate will look locked but won't be.
Let me know if anyone is willing to help. Thanks

I need as much help as I can get for Saturday April 26th. I need to move 3 tee pads 4' X 12' to the new hole layouts for the Legion course. I also have to cut up some down trees and move fallen stuff. If there is time we can dig up the sleeves for 5,6 and 7 and repour them in their new homes. Please let me know if you can help. If we get enough people I will supply a couple of 12-packs for the effort.

Provided the weather is decent, I want to try and move 3 tee pads into the new holes. Shovels should be enough. I am going to see if Robert has some 4x4's to put underneath the pads at runners.

what pads are u planning on moving? old 16's pad might be the easiest to dig out due to the erosion. me and average joe will be out there @ 8am to play a final round in the current layout and will help when u get there. we cant stay past 12 due to fam stuff.

Thanks, I think 16's pad, 7's pad and 5's and old 4's pad together would be the easiest. 16 and 7 are exposed quite a bit already and we would just have to get 4x4 underneath to pull away. I have two extra anchors at my house and may try and get them in the ground Thursday night for hole 5 and 17 just to have something to put the basket in.
