Walnut Ridge Unbelieveable Deuce

Postby Hubbard » Mon Mar 31, 2008 2:28 pm

I played Walnut saturday with Victor Clark, Dan Harper, Rod Ruble, and Jason Altoff...

Harper deuced #13 long to long... he "crushed" a Crush down over the hill right in front that group of about 3-4 trees, and then drained a 180-200 footer with a Firebird, and it stuck in the side of the basket. Unreal... never seen anybody deuce that one before.

I've seen a handful of 30-40ft putts for 2 on that hole. I don't recall seeing one made for sure, but I know its been done before.

Saw Sandstrom throw it into the line of trees walking to #14's pad, had no shot at a deuce tho.

Wow Rodney, How can you remember that much detail? A true disc golf aficionado...

Anyway, I figured someone must have deuced it before, but it was amazing to witness considering Harper was playing horribly to that point... he was self destructing, was at 6 over through the 1st 4 holes (started on 9 short), after just having hit a 50 footer to save his 6 on #12.

Remember? Pah! I can't remember what I had for breakfast. This is the computer age -- who needs a memory?

Fuasch did the same thing earlier this year but yeah no real shot at a duece. Prolly 70 ft out or so.

I think you are confused. Every time I've seen Fausch buried in the woods 70ft out it's been his 2nd shot.

Only thing that comes to mind would be an overhand Epic that ends up flexing out or something ridiculously understable thrown at some extreme angle, id like to see it
