Thanks Steve but I think we have enough to cover it. If a second one go missing then maybe I will take you up on it.

That was Kelly but I'd help too. Let me know about the welder though. We just have to figure out the generator part. There are a couple at Jones that might need welded too but we can pull them to do it.

I have a portable generator. It's on wheels, weighs about 50lbs. Happy to bring it up for a day. Let's just wait until the snow melts ............ should be around June.

Sounds good. I prefer to weld in dry conditions.

So is league covering the basket or will the city pay for it?

We have lost 4 baskets on Shaver and Jones combined. I think the city replaced the 1st one at Jones and we recovered one and one is at a local private course near Shaver. The last one from Shaver has not been located. Lance got someone to pay for the last one that was stolen at Jones. You would have to ask the city if they will replace it but I am leaning towards them not paying it. There is some money in the league funds and we could replace it or I could pay a skilled craftman to build one and replace it (BUD). Let me know.

Tony Philips was telling me yesterday a new co-worker of his just moved into a place and said there is a basket either in her yard or the neighbors with a number on it. He said he is going to look into it some more and said she lives by Kingston. Hopefully we won't need to replace the basket, just get it back.

Chuck the posse, get the lynch mob together. Someone get some rope and we'll make that chucker drag the basket all the way back to shaver. Then make him redig the basket back into the ground with his hands, add concrete, and then sit there until the concrete fully cures (28 days).

If there's any leftover concrete, you can make him some "shoes".

Adam, whatever happened to this lead?
I saw the idea of the Friday night doubles fund raiser as a means of replacement but thought either reclaiming it if it was stolen or league funds were the way it was going to be replaced?

Like I told Doug, I'd pitch in some cash but haven't heard anything.
I know a few others who would too.

I've asked Tony multiple times to talk to his co-worker in the past few months. Haven't really gotten an answer why he hasn't asked her yet.
