Aces

Just thought I'd transfer this from my PM's to a running thread.

This came from SpikeHyzer:

The first recorded ace for Windflower was from Steven Lass on hole 1 during a PE class. Let Gary know.

Congratulations to John Anderson for his ace tonight at the Norwalk mini!

He threw a sweet shot on the 14th hole (3-short, 216 feet). The three who teed off before him all threw decent shots, but each remarked how crappy the throw was. John steps up with a Buzz, takes 2 steps and lets it fly. No one said anything as it flew. Next thing you know - - - CHING! There was a lot of hollering and hi fives. That was John's first ace.

Congratulations John!

Got a Polish Ace Monday night, March 25th... (not that I'm proud of it. )

Threw from 4, Champ Wraith on a hyzer angle straight @ the basket. Cross winds from L to R were so strong, it flipped it over 180 degrees & turned it into a 100mph roller. Thanking God that it jumped the creek, I blinked, and the damn thing went CHING in the basket for hole # 8.

Geoff Johnson, I OWE YOU $5...

Just my luck!

Got an unofficial ace tonight on 5 short w/ a starfire or all things... Bag was in my garage, but HAD to throw something before going home (needed fresh air). Took a beat up pro starfire out of the trunk & a new Bottom stamp Roc that I got from Nate Prindle's Memorial. Thought I'd practice on my"no-approach short game", and threa a wormburner into the wind w/ the ROC. Shrugged it off, and threw a hyzer into the wind, an dropped it right IN! W00t!

11? That's impressive, what with the trees and pump station. Good job!

Thanks Gary!

I almost got 11 as well but I just missed the basket

So far we have had 2 aces in the fall league; both in the last 2 weeks. Must be something in the air!
