Hey, I saw you lip syncing to "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You"

Well, for those of you that don't know, I got an IPod recently. Archive.Org has been my blessing for downloading mp3's. However, there are several bands that they do not have. Then I remembered a website I visited my early college years. I have died and gone to heaven all over again :D

Notable mentions - Phish summer '98 run (one of my personal favs. Grateful Dead May '77 :D :D :D . And rare to find Widespread Panic.

All for free. There is some lack in sound quality for many of the shows, but it's a small price to pay for these gems. They also have many more links of where to go to purchase sounboard shows. Get your nugs here. 8)
NO!......Welp!?

I used to visit this site as well.

Check out:
YMSB 12/31/01
Galactic 12/31/01
Leftover Salmon 12/4/02
The two Bruce Hornsby shows are pretty good too.
Calmer than you are.

How about CunninLyguists? Not that I really thinkCunninLynguists made the DVD, I just like to type CunninLynguists as much as possible. CunninLynguists, CunninLynguists, CunninLynguists. It's like a typing tongue twister, pun intended.

Great music videos here!

That Juan's Basement reminds me of some of the parties I went to in my Iowa City days. Hell, it reminds me of some of the places I lived in my Iowa City days.

Ken Jennings (that Jeopardy guy) is compiling his list of the "best" band from each state. He begrudgingly listed Slipknot for Iowa, apparently because he couldn't come up with any others even close to their level of success. Any help?

There's a big difference between "best" and "most commercially successful".

Well, yeah. I was vague and used both terms, because he is even more vague in his criteria. You sorta have to read it. He's taking big hits for picking Pixies over Aerosmith. I commend him.

Yeah, are you kidding? No contest there, Pixies are a seminal influence.

Oh, I suppose you wanted this century? And bands?

Well, Buddy Holly and Richie Valens died here, so we have that going for us.

Don't forget about Greg Brown. If you're into rootsy-folk/rock you can't go wrong.
