Sunday Sept 23rd Work Day 11am

I met with the city park's department and we need to put in hole 17's tee pad. This is a hillside tee pad so we need to build up one side and level it off. Also we will be trying to build a wall to back fill with dirt so there is a drop off on another pin placement. Closest pin placement around here that is an example would be Hole 1 at Shaver but the wall would be behind the basket and be a larger drop off. It would hopefully be like an island for the pin placement.
The city is ready to order baskets but we will need to build sleeves for the pins and place them in the ground.
They are also looking for a date for an early spring tournament next year so things are starting to roll along.
Shovels are needed. Thanks

Whats the progress of the course? Is it done yet?

No, they are working on the baskets and sleeves but with all the snow we got so far not much has been done. The parks people have been using a lot of overtime to remove snow. We have 5 tees to pour and 36 sleeves to put in. Also 18 signs, but we do have the signs done, just need to put them in the ground. The city is shooting for a May grand opening. Not sure of the date yet. I will let everyone know when we can start working on the course again. All this white stuff makes it a little tough.
