Nice Course

Nice Course

Postby CopperClone » Wed Jul 11, 2007 10:04 pm

I went to my son's baseball game so I stopped by this park and walked the course.

I couldn't tell where holes 3 - 11 would be, but the holes that I could find looked sweet! Especially the hole shots on 17 and 18.
Always give into peer pressure.

Be patient. Still working on signage. Check out the map.

In fact, holes 3-11 are part of phase 2 and are not in yet. What you see now is known as the "Recreational 9", which are located in the upper portion of the park. This is designed to be played by younger and novice players without getting into too much hazard area. Holes 3-11 will be built in the lower portion of the park and are designed for the advanced player. Overall, it will be a fun and challenging course for all ages and abilities.[/url]

Not really. There are two instances where you will have to walk about 500' at the worst. For the most part, the walk to the next tee will be less than 200'

no ,there is alot of extra walking. mchose park is not one big park but 3 or 4 small parks grouped together ,hence the extra steps. when you are looking for tee #1 look for the statue of teddy roosevelt,it will be right behind it.
twenty years of throwin, my interest in the sport is still growin.

I've been notified, but haven't confirmed, that there are now 18 baskets at McHose. 7 pads left to pour.
