Postby ghstinshll » Thu Oct 11, 2007 10:23 am

This info came to me via Scheels' distributor..... Anybody heard of them? Probably not, but thought I'd just share some info... I can't find a web site for them though.

Aotearoa, a new manufacturer from New Zealand, has introduced the following golf discs...

Raptor, Raptor X, Rippa and Te Moko. See http://discsunlimited.net/disc_golf_aotearoa.html for more info

and the following Ultimate Sport Disc and Kiwi Flyer, ....

You know, startups & new molds no one else throws - ought to be up Phil's alley as well!

FYI Jason, "the legend" = Phil.

Just didn't want you sounding like the department of redundancy department.

Back on topic here:

I asked the "line manager" @ corporate to include one driver from this company, so that we can add more brand diversity into the mix.

I haven't thrown these discs, but I've held them in my hand, and the Raptor feels very much like an Orc. The rim is slightly more narrow, but it has a very concave wing. The plastics are similar to star and champ. They were for sale at Funcrest, north of Iowa City.

When life gives you lemons, stick them in the freezer for a few hours, then throw them back, 'cause they're like rocks, man.
