meteor

anybody thrown one of these yet? Claring had a couple he snagged from Timmy Gill up at the Bloomington Open Saturday. I didn't throw it, but I saw him try to crank it and it went pretty much straight into the ground (flipped).

The meteor is like a beat up putter from my understanding. Supposed be a bit longer though.

This disc is now in my bag.......Awesome! Thanks Mike. Feels like a Buzzz and flies like a beat in X Buzzz. Thrown at 75% with hyzer it goes straight and at 100% with hyzer it stands up and slowly right but got to get some air under it. Perfect compliment to my super beat D Buzzz and somewhat flippy 1st run Z buzzz.

I have been throwing one since Bowling Green and have preached it. I love this disc, I throw it for most shots 250' and in. I think the SS buzz makes a great compliment to the Meteor.

I use this disc for exactly what AO said. Its a perfect reliable-anny midrange. I love it because I now have a replaceable beatup D-Buzzz. When this disc rides an anny it refuses to fade out at the end, but on the flipside it never dumps right on me either. Once again Discraft adds a killer disc to their midrange collection. This disc is what I always wanted with the Comet, but the Comet was too tempermental and didn't mask my throwing flaws as well. Its also what I was hoping the Skeeter would be but I lost that at WL and wasn't impressed enough to replace it.

The Meteor has increased my scores at Camden by 1 to 2 strokes. I no longer need to screw around with an uphill sidearm shot on 16 (or go past with the leopard), and hole 17 couldn't be any more perfect for the standard flight path of the Meteor.

hmmm...i might have to pick one up. My buddy has been throwing it for a while and likes it. I throw sidearm as well as backhand but I might pick it up and try it out.

I had the same thing with the Comet and I don't know if I like how big the Comet is. Also I felt I had to get the Comet higher in the air to get a good flight and had to throw it harder as well. The Meteor just seems to work out. Wish I wouldn't have sold all my 1st runs to Play it Again.

I think the Meteor is like a Coyote, only good. Throwing a Coyote is like dating a stripper; it's fun for the first week, then you realize that it really sucks.

I threw that disc on that very hole today. In the grass left and 30 ft. short of the pin. Archer not the arrow. Great disc reliable HSF and next to no LSF.
Great hole for it was the short pin on hole one at Middle too.

Plus ESP plastic is bullet proof so it should stay consistent for a while.
