Vandalism

Guys, I thought it best to note a list of vandalism that we've seen in the park on an ongoing thread here:

Last week (saw it Thursday, June 28th) there was orange spray paint on the skateboard amp, concrete, and on the windflower sign... Did not see who did it.

Tonight, I caught a 17 yr old kid named Timmy (who works @ Kum & Go) pounding his fists on the bottom of the sign on 10 trying to bend it. I yelled an obscene order to "cease" an he apologized & moved on. I will be paying him a visit to let him know we didn't raise $4500 to have idiots like him ruin the course.

"Timmy" is a short, 5'5" long-black-haired "rocker kid" who apparently has a lack of respect for anything... When I had the kids the pool later, and he & his friends came back thru the park - I called him over from hole 6 to have a talk w/ him...

From now on, when there's a Whit Taurus (early 90's vintage), or a white Jeep Grand Cherokee - be on the lookout for trouble.

First off, what Kum & go does he work at?

Second, why didn't you call the cops?

Third, Timmy going to find out why most of my friends call me an asshole

I feel like I thoroughly scared the crap out of him ( in a "i'm gonna kick your ass if I see you out of line again" kind of way)... He's @ the KG on 28 & North if you feel you really need to stop by.

Sorry, I didn't even think to call the cops. I will be from now on though. it'd be good to have a police record of all vandalism that occurs in the park.

BTW: Will the city be tearing down the skateboard ramp? Was that decided?

Went to see timmy tonight but Taylor was working and I think I might have scared him alittle, all I said was (are you Timmy) you never heard a kid say NO, I'M TAYLOR and damn fast.

Oh-well maybe tomorrow Timmy
