Sorry Jess. Didn't see this until today.
I would definately be up for a league. Unfortunately, the past couple of years I have been scheduled to work T/Th/F until 8pm which really cuts into my league/practice time! And I pitch for my softball team on M/W nights. As spring approaches, I'll see what they are thinking again this year. It could be a Thurs. night might work, especially March until mid-May when I usually go to my new schedule.

Let's keep in touch about the league. :D

Thanks Tracy-- I would definately want to see you be a part of this and help to make it a successful league--if not, to be able to help get it off and running early in the season!! I'm hoping that by starting early enough in the spring we'll be able to build a strong attendance throughout the summer.

As a late note..

This is something I'd be interested in, assuming it's also for the incredibly amateur. I always get stuck playing in large groups of men, since we can't seem to get the rest of the females out for DG in my group. It'd be a nice relief.

Also, why is the QC Area DG Club forum only viewable to select people?

Women's league

When does everyone want to get this started? Weather is warming up a bit. Thurs nights work best for me--maybe starting at 5:30/5:45pm. And I'm thinking we should make it singles for awhile until we see if we can draw enough to play doubles. Maybe do a spring singles and see how it goes?

What time do you typically play? We may have to think about Tuesdays, or work around your schedule on Thursdays. Gotta have the Kell Bell out there!

So, is this still making progress, or what? I was hoping for a spring league, but never saw it appear, but a summer one would be great.

Spring got away from us, and now Kelly, Kathy, and I are swamped w/ work, softball, and volleyball committments. We might have to all keep in touch and just pick a couple of days to get together and throw between now and August when things slow down a bit.
Keep watching, we'll get a day/time planned to get out.
