Oh my. That's where stereotypes are born.

Come to think of it, I remember this discussion from the old board. I think I came around to this position, that it really doesn't matter. I would like to see all the best holes at once, but I don't think that means all long. The only problem I see is that it is maybe harder for people unfamiliar with the course to determine which placement it is. But you know, they probably won't figure out that they are all in the same color placement anyway.

Tee signs that allow indicating the current "placement" rock.
Oh, my vote is mix it all up :D and like Jay mentioned, move a couple here and there to keep it fresh.
It was very cool to see hole 2 straight ahead for The Challenge...it's been a long time on that one.
I think it'd be fun to bring back some more placements that haven't been used in a long time...thanks Bman.

love the feedback gang, i went to turkey creek last year and unfortunately there peg idea doesnt work cause most of the pegs are missing so you still have to spot ck the hole if you cant see it from the pad.
Angela thanks for the compliment on hole #2 the middle pin is def my personal favorite on that hole the other 2 are pretty fluky. My mindset for dsm challenge was to keep it hard but give everyone a different look than the last 3 years. i myself hate playing the same pins year after year at a tourney when there is other locations available.
Dan, please stop!! i'm ruining keyboards reading your posts there way to funny..
