Y'all gonna add it to DGCR? I can see the argument against it, but having all courses listed is nice.

I don't think its a great idea. I thought about it for about 1 second when it first went in, but my better judgement slapped me in the face.

I made a decent donation through their web site and printed receipt to put in my bag. Wonder if that will buy any leeway with Security? Also see lots of [easy] volunteer opportunities on their website (http://www.centraliowa.va.gov/giving/assignments.asp). I also pick up trash while I play with a garbage bag tied to my dg bag. Guess I'll find out if any of that matters.

Recently moved right next door and have been wanting to check out this course. Yes there are lots of DsM courses but this is a 17-18@Ewing's walk away.

Awesome design! Especially for such a small area. Fun tunnel shots and nice variety.

Thanks Kepp. It was a little tricky to get in and keep it safe but it worked out well.

I think I will try to get over there and play this week after work. Anyone know if the course is still there?

Was out playing a glow round at around 11:30 at the VA the other night. Security Guards said hi, we talked and I found out that they don't care who comes out to the course to play anymore as long as they don't leave trash behind. They also reminded me that it is federal property, so no alcohol or drugs because it would be a federal offense. Anyways... they said that if you want to play a glow round that it's no big deal, but to let them know ahead of time, their number is 515 699 5839.

The course is nine holes, but I'd say three of them are signature holes - 2, 3, 7. All nine are deuceable but getting all of them in the same round is a solid challenge. Hole 3 is toughest. Great use of elevation and fast greens.
