I don't know if it's just me, but does anyone else think that 2014 Bigfoot seems a little thin and lacking in that signature flavor?

Surly coming to DM

We're road tripping to Iowa and we're bringing beer! On April 3rd, 4-8 pm, we'll be hanging out and pouring beers at el Bait Shop in Des Moines. We'll be bringing: Furious, Hell, Cynic, Bender, Cacao Bender, Smoke, Blakkr, Mild, Darkness & Pentagram. BUT we're NOT distributing broadly to Iowa (yet), just sharing beers for the night with our neighbors to the south. We'll add more details and a FB event soon.

One of the local breweries here starting canning. They sell in 4-packs of 16oz cans. $8 for the session IPA, $10 for their bigger IPA. Great stuff, and awesome to get it in cans. Beyond that one local brewery, I'm starting to see cans from quite a few "regional" craft breweries.

Update: Hop Drop & Roll just won the Gold medal at the World Beer Cup -- first place out of 223 entries in the American IPA category.

TG is brewing Sosus today...

AO and D-Fresh will be happy to hear that King Sue will be at the tap room this weekend and hitting accounts next week...

And I keep hearing rumors of it maybe making it's way to 12oz bottles

Plug for a regular beer. I haven't liked some of the stuff I've tried from Schell's, but I'm a pilsner fan so I took a chance on a twelve pack mix of these....

30TH ANNIVERSARY PILSNER SERIES

Pretty good. Particularly like the 1984.
