In jail, pleaded not guilty, awaiting trial. Suppose Sacramento jail is better than Oakland.

A 6oz disc would be 168g. Lawsuit outcome will be interesting, probably in her favor depending if she was on the designated course or not. Disfigured? Just says she lost her sight in left eye...

That's disfigured in my book. Can't be used anymore. I think it is up to us as disc golfers to walk up an say will you move or at least watch out. Public has all the right and if they say no, then move on. More park people then disc golfers. I'm sure its a bigger problem in elsewhere

It'd be important to know if the track was it's own area or not. To me, and indeed I'm an ass, but if you're sitting in the outfield and you're smacked by a homerun, that's your bad. If you're walking on the street behind the stadium and get blasted, that's the organization's liability

Police have a report of a horse and buggy driving down the highway in Kalona with no one in the buggy.

Mark Carlson ‏@markwcarlson 14h

Great news out of Kalona! The horse and buggy have been stopped (or caught) and everyone is safe.

Not good

The type of news that makes me think of a course like West Lake - reason to remove some of the holes like 10 & 11.

My ex used to live a block away from Poliwag Park when I was in LA. I'd go there at 7 AM when no park residents were around...once it starts to warm up that park fills fast. Its designed for putters and rec players but since it is so hard to get park land and people don't want to drive, this course is used 'safari' style and that endangers everyone. I half-expected this to have happened years ago, honestly...
