If, hypothetically, I were to make that sign, I'd use the subjunctive mood. Certain, I was never any good at grammar, so I might be wrong.

Cripes, I don't even come close to understanding 10% of that page I just referenced. Here, this is more succinct. Though that page references conditional future as opposed to conditional in general, so I'm further lost.
