No, I ask questions that I don't know the answer to. The way others rise is more a reflection of themselves. Seems most on here take offense to questions and respond with name calling and attempts to exclude.

Found this in an old thread.

2007 rules http://www.huxcomm.net/web/2005iowatour/the_club_002.htm

It talks about how to make challenges and during which rounds you can turn down a challenge. The wording is the reason I thought you had to challenge. I have also been turned down on exchanging tags because I didn't officially challenge before the round. I know these rules may not be current but I thought it was worth posting.

Looks like the only change has been the removal of the one on one challenge wording. I thought the proflight website was down.

"Challenges may be refused in casual play."

So now your conviced I deserved your tag right Steve?

I didn't challenge you after 17.5 holes. We played in an 11 person supergroup at the Shueyville Tourney, and on the last hole I asked if anyone had Iowa Tour tags.

I always thought that if people had tags in the same league or tour and they played 18 holes together then tags were on the line straight up.

I've heard both ways on the course and after reading the rules it doesnt state when the challenge has to be made. I know you won mine but wanted to know exactly what it said in the rules and used that situation as the example. Enjoy the #4 tag.

In 2013 tag challenges have only been required at Iowa Tour stops, and who is on your card takes priority over a side bet. If there is a playoff in a tournament the winner gets the tag. If you tie over 18 holes, it is a wash, keep your tag.

Also with the side challenges at events. Since round cards have priority over tags. Your agreement should be something to the effect of "Low score at the end of the day gets low tag".

Personally I feel that tags should be on the line every round of 18 holes minimum. I think this makes you a better golfer if you must always be on your game to keep the better tag. When I was living in Ames, and now that I am in CR the tag holders agreed with this concept, so there is no discussion or challenge made.

The tour finals will be vacant with the date the same as the Holiday Showdown.

How does this apply again? I didn't receive points for Atlantic when I played Int but I saw that another Adv player got points for playing in open. Do you only get points when you move up?

Has always been this way as long as I've been apart of the tour
