Duden and westmark took open. I am too busy at work today to do the reort and upload (pdga makes doubles a pain). Hoping to have time tonight to do this.

that's like saying the guy with you when you robbed the bank isn't a robber becasue he didn't carry out the money. It's guilt by association 8)

Always enjoy battling Ernie and Duden in dubz. Congrats on the win fellaz. Also great shooting last round by Grant and Tyler to sneak into 2nd. Fockers. Thanks to Pro Flight for orchestrating another fun tournament. Heat was brutal.

I had fun playing with a lot of Iowa golfers, whose company I thoroughly enjoy and seeing a lot of familiar friendly faces...

Congrats on the win on Sunday, Du-West-sac...! I always enjoy golfing with Duden

On another note, I understand there are growing pains with running events and there is trial by fire, but let me say, I was pretty disappointed with how both events were run this weekend. To set the tone for the weekend, when I ask the TD if there's water on the course for drinking, because its July in the Midwest, and he tells me to drink the pond water? ARE YOU KIDDING ME????!!!!!! This isn't my first rodeo, I was plenty prepared for myself, but that doesn't mean everyone was. This could have been better planned or maybe the TD could ask for a little help. I would've been more than happy to bring 5-6 huge water jugs from the KCFDC for the weekend, had I known there would be NOTHING!!!

I very much appreciate seeing that this was seen as an issue and having water for golfers on Sunday.

Also, 2 hours between rounds at events that are 2/3rds full, with courses, 4 mins from each other? Prolonging people sitting out in this heat for no reason whatsoever, That could have been done without. It takes a little more help to play AND run an event and not getting people off the course at 7:30 PM

Also, Paying half the field, Is that gonna be a common trend in DSM moving forward??

To finish, Being reprimanded for"Possibly" being seen smoking on the course and reported to the "TD", I sure hope it wasn't one of the people I saw smoking an eff'n bowl in their car before the second round!!!!

I've played 90+ events in 10 years in the State of Iowa and have had a lot of great times and memories. I truly hope this isn't foreshadowing of whats to come for Des Moines Iowa area golf...!

thx always good to golf with ya as well kenneth hope this doesnt keep ya from coming back there will be better things in the future and will take little time im sure .as far as dave telling you the pond water thing you have to know him to take it better but in situation where there isnt water out for us he prolly should of not said that. just my opinion

Tankers et all...

I don't necessarily disagree with you, however I think we have to give this year a pass. Shane always did a good job with this tournament and with the recent sale of Proflight a few tournaments fell into the laps of Grant, Dave, and Amanda. I hate giving volunteers a free pass just because they volunteer their time, but at the same time the Beerys put in a ton of free hours and they didn't have to. I'm hopeful that this tournament will return to former glory in the future and that will take a lot of work and collaboration. I didn't look closely at payouts, but they have been paying way too deep in my opinion, and that's coming from the guy who benefitted the most on Sat. I didn't deserve to cash whatsoever.
