We will be doing all 20 shots off the Eagle(GOLD) list. Just an FYI the Upside Down shots only have to go upside down at some point in the discs flight path. You can throw the disc upside down if you want but a thummer or tomahawk will do. The Rollers have to roll at least half way. I'm not going to nit pick over a couple feet as long as the intention is there. If I can get the help I will also be running a putting contest. Both contests will be for a trophy only. All the proceeds will go to the Cedar Rapids Metro YMCA's EDGE program. You can go as many times as you want for $5 a turn. I hope to see you out there and look forward to your support. Below is a list of last years scores. It was a rainy windy day last year so I'm sure someone can beat Pike's 685. Or maybe not!

1. Pike = 685 points
2. Greco = 659
3. KVN =627
4. Tim Payton = 623
5. Utley = 617
6. Maker = 605
7. Apollo = 603
8. Kollin = 571
9. Ian = 549
10. Woody = 477

this was really fun fritz! i think if you could get guys to stand at each station the player could take his/her card with them and have the station director fill out the points. if you had the abiltiy to have the tape on a pivit point you would only need 1 person running that.

i was thinking of using a string and marking it off by the foot. then just tying it to the base of the basket. What do you think?

Thank you. I have one as well to mark out all the shots. Just trying to come up with a better way to measure the throws that land inside the 25ft. ring. Last year it took two people because i had a tape. I'm likeing the string idea more and more!

Thanks. That's what I have. I also have one that rolls. I was going to use the string method so I could try to make it easier for just one person to measure. The tape would require two. unless I tied the tape to the pole but I don't want anything in the way of the discs. I don't think a string laying on the ground would hurt?

String stretches so it's not the most accurate, but you're only concerned about ft', so it won't be off by THAT much. Tie it to the pole and mark it alongside a measuring tape for swivel action!
Another idea could be to mark the floor w something non-permanent or removable. 10ft. increments, and use the measuring tape to read distance from 10ft. mark?
Just throwing ideas out there

Just a heads up. The 2013 Skillshot Challange will now be held at Shaver Park. The time will still be from Noon till 8pm. Hope to see as a bunch of people there. The money goes to a good cause!

I want to thank everyone who participated and helped with the Skillshot! We raised $100 for the EDGE program that I will try to put towards another basket. The big news was that the defending champion Travis Pike did not show up to defend his title! We did crown a new CHAMP and had some very impressive scores and shots!

1. Kevin Stibal - 746
2.Doug Payton 4th - 726
3.Greco - 708
4.Doug Payton 2ed -700
5.Doug Payton 1st - 677
6.Tim Payton - 664
7.Doug Payton 3rd - 663
8.Veeder - 637
9.Kollin Grimm - 632
10. Cody Green - 629
11. Kirby Callahan -609
12. Ian -607
13. Chuck Yanda - 580
14. Kamron Bulechek - 498

Putting contest results are as follows

1. Doug Payton - 120
2. Veeder - 90
3. Greco - 45
4. Kirby - 45

The putting contest was not easy with the wind and the Bullseye basket!
There were some very outstanding shots in the skill shot. Doug made his first four shots in his second attempt. Very impressive!
Kevin Seibal only had 3 shots outside of the circle. Then he made 2 out of the 3 putt for a score that might be hard to beat in the years to come!
I would like to do another one this year if people are interested. If not we'll for sure do it again next year!
Thanks again to everyone!

In a side note. Rollers were the shot that most frequently ended up outside the circle.
