two days sounds retarded imo comitting to two days is harder than most think specially out of towners why not two divisions play both rds on one day and the other two play on the next day just my opinion which means nothing but i will be one that doesnt make it if two day event of 18 each day not that one matters but i believe this will keep more people away than coming fvck off prolly wont play anyway sssss

You can use our baskets, Dave. We have 2 for sure, could get you a 3rd or 4th if you need them. Any idea which weekend(s) you are looking at?
Chances are I wouldn't have division anyway  but just curious...

Retro sounds fun though! 8)

Iron Lion Open is the 18th, if that matters...

Which divisions are more likely to play both events? Having those divisions play Saturday would be ideal. Maybe oPen/advanced Saturday and int/wrec and ladies on Sunday.

The day Discpalooza drew 78 people at Ewing, the Iron Lion Safari in Geneseo drew 94 people. I don't think it's an issue. I'm astounded at how many people are playing tournaments these days.

It does matter to me, chase runs a great event and the last thing I wanted was to compete against him. I have played the iron Lion Open and its a great event run but great people. Unfortunately the DM Open has to change venues for the next couple of years and with my decision to move this year to Walnut Ridge Retro my event will be over capasity. The thought of just capping it had occured to me, however the work that I do for disc golf is mostly so that others can enjoy our courses. Its going to take a bit of work to get the retro in and I want as many people to enjoy as possible.

That's a thought. But having Open/Int one day, and Adv/Rec the other would allow people on the fence to play both days if needed. Say a 950 rated Am, wanted to play Open, (s)he could. As well as being able to play the next day in Adv...You'll have less people wanting to travel between the two areas, than those wanting to play both days.

If its a 2 day...........

90% sure it would be........

Saturday would be advanced / rec
Sunday would be Open / intermediate / Juniors (1 round only)

We will have womens divisions offered on both days.

Whoa. The courses are radically different. I can picture most of those holes, but some of those are...interesting.

Yeah, Walnut used to be my favorite course when I first started...Probably because I could actually reach most of the holes. The they maxed it out for worlds and I hated it for a few years
