I've tried a couple of different putting styles and so far the kindof slow drop putt is whats worked the best for me. Is this a pretty common style of putting or should I be doing it another way? Any opinions would be great.
Another change I've made to my putting game is going from a spin putter to more of a push putter. This has lead to less spit backs and cut threws and if I miss I only have a 10 ft comeback putt. While changing to a push putt I've focussed on using less motion. I only bring my putter back to my knee before going forward. When I release I still focus on following through and extend my hand up and forward. This leads to a crisp release and have a spot on the chains where I hit more consistently.
