Some baskets saved.

Some baskets saved.

Thanks to Andy Hamer for going to Peninsula today and pulling the baskets off of #13, 14 and 16.

Unfortunately, 11, 12 and 15 were already under water and we will hope for the best.

If you see Andy, make sure to say thanks.

Is there any danger of actually losing the baskets? ISU got completely flooded out in 08 and we just had to knock the debris off them when the water went away.

^ The problem here, in Iowa City, is that 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 become a part of the raging Iowa River. There is a very steady flow through the course with trees floating along and sometimes bumping into the baskets. Holes 13, 14, and 16 have been saved and we will have to wait and see what happens to 11, 12 and 15 when the flood waters recede.
You can only be offended if you want to be.
