We put concrete in a black plastic sled last we did Legion. It takes about two loads of that, but its a pain moving it.

Steve, you might want to leave some of the tile tees in place. I don't know if it would be worth while trying to get concrete up to 8 or some of the back front holes. Could just get 23 people and everyone carries a bucket. Only 30 trips.

Maybe Stibs could bring up his ATV for the day?

Yeah Stibs, I meant feet not yards. I was thinking cubic yards about what the trucks hold. Doug, we are not going to concrete the 8A pad. 1, because it's a pain to get to and 2, we wanted to have it remain original for history sake. That pad never gets to slick or wet there anyway. This is Kelly by the way. (I know you get that mixed up all the time)

We can drive trucks to most of the pads on the back, so the front would be the only issue. Going up #2 fairway would be the worst of it. I could see this being a two part project with most of the help needed on the front for sure. A couple ATV's going would be an option for sure.

So, at 3/4 of a yard per pad, a full truck of 9 yards should yield 12 pads at 12' x 4' x 4" deep Stibs? There are 14 pads on the from not counting number 1's pads(we could do those at a later date) and 8A plus the B hole and 9A/7A/5A have shorter 10' long pads. One truck for all of those would be close.

You also would need to give the concrete company an idea of how long it will take to unload. They are used to dumping it all at once, where we may need the truck to stay for a couple of hours.

My ATV is at your disposal.

Thanks to everyone for your generous offers and information, I'll keep you all posted after I can discuss this more with the whole crew.

We decided 8 would stay as is.

I'd be more than willing to help with the labor part of pouring concrete pads.

Mike and I will sponsor a pad.

If the schedule works, I'd be happy to help with the labor too.

2500 feet of fairway has been whacked thoroughly on the back 9. Still have 12, 15 and 18 to do, plus part of 11 and 16. Then on to the front.

The back looks awesome with the weedwhacking Steve has been doing. If you can stand the swarming mosquitos, go check it out. Seriously, they are really bad so far this year...you may want to stay away.

Weed whacked holes 1, 2, 9 and 18 yesterday. The river was at the edges of the road near the boat ramp and is most likely over the road now.

The back is now fully weed whacked. Thanks to Tim P for the help. Holes 3 through 8 are still left to do.

With all the mowing and weed whacking completed for now, the course is looking (dare I say) as good as it ever has. A few areas need some love from the flash flooding lately (behind #1A pad, the low area of #10 fairway, by the first wall on #14 and an area next to #17 pad) but other than that the course is coming along nicely. The grass we spread has filled in on most of the fairways. Orange flags have been put down to mark the remaining stumps for removal. We're getting closer to having grass filled, stump free fairways and it looks awesome. The mosquitos haven't been as bad as they were earlier in the year but the gnats are still ferocious. Despite all the rain, there are not really any muddy areas to be found.

Edit - The overnight rain I'm sure has some water sitting on 2C's fairway, 3's early fairway and the middle of 4, need a couple days of dry time for sure. And, after playing last night, sorry to say the mosquitos are back in full force.
