Tourist Park- Memorial Day

Is the course playable for tonight or is it underwater? If unplayable what are the contingency plans?

I have been to Tourist & Exchange. Both are unplayable with multiple tees & pins under water. Lots of standing water as well. I'm headed to Deerwood to inspect.

Hole #6 at Exchange has a 15 ft log sitting in the basket. Must have been a helluva putt!

Being your waders then. I'm at Deerwood and it's unplayable as well with many pins underwater. Go look at Tourist, seriously. #11 surrounded by 50 ft of water. # 14 the same. Swim through #16 fairway on the way to the hole. Really? Someone has to make the call but League Officials need to see for themselves first. My suggestion is to skip this week and add it on to the end of the schedule if possible.

I just walked tourist an hour ago. Yes there are some large puddles but I believe it is playable. I don't think waders are necessary but I would recommend boots and towels.

I agree with Lee. It is pretty wet and nasty but definitely playable. Some larger standing bodies of water but nothing out of the usual.

Unless the lake surrounding #11 pin and covering Tee #6 receded in the last 2 hours since I walked the course I will respectfully disagree with the assessment that the course is playable. However, if the League has decided to go ahead with play tonight I will be there. If you don't bring boots you will regret it (also will need a bobber-marker for #11).

Like I stated before, course was in tip top shape and made for the best round of the year so far. :)

Think I saw a shark on hole twelve. Could have been a stingray.

Flood warnings extended in cf until Thursday of next week. Extend until Tuesday night of next week in waterloo. Any chance we can be a bit quicker this week on figuring out what's going on for Monday? I can tell you deerwood was still flooded yesterday. Guessing x is closed again as the water was just as high as last week. With the rains expected today and this evening it go even higher pretty easily. Would be cool to get some league officials out this time and make the call. Just my two cents. I can go check x and deerwood Sunday evening if needed. Just let me know.

If the water doesn't recede considerably this weekend, we might have to cancel Monday night and make it up in Aug.
I will also check the courses Sunday and contact the League officials to see what they want to do.

Last week sure was memorable, I saw D-League out there Wed. (Duck League) looked like ducks vs. geese. I think the Ducks won 3 games to 2.
