Back in Business

Back in Business

The course is back in business after reconstruction. 9 baskets with two pads per basket. It plays longer than before but has the same basic routing (up one side of the creek, down the other). The old second hole was removed to eliminate problems with the shelter and playground equipment. Holes 7-12 are now 6-9 with new basket and tee pad locations. All rounds now start and end by the parking lot.

It still feels like home, but with a couple variations. Design is much safer now, no more risk of falling (unless drunk) into a creek.

Be sure to pay attention to the stamped tee pads to tell you what hole you're on, and where the next tee pad is.

Thanks to Gary & Jeremy who did all the work, and thanks to the city manager who finally got the ball rolling. All she needed was a stern reminder, and BAM - they were scheduled to work on it.

It feels good to have our home course back to playable condition again...
