Hey folks, I am pleased to announce that we will be doing hole sponsorships this year. The designs are currently being looked at for these signs and the cost is minimal. More details will be coming, but if anyone is interested in sponsoring a hole for only $25 just PM me the course and hoel number along with your information and I will begin compiling a list. All proceeds from these will be added cash for the event.

Thanks,
Damon

Online Registration is up and running. Please note that we added a place for you, the player to sponsor a hole this year for $25. Damon referenced this above and Disc Golf Scene made it easy for us to make this happen. If you elect this sponsorship, a custom sign will be made for the hole, referencing you as the sponsor. You will be able to keep this sign after the event is completed. Make sure if you have a special hole request, you PM either Damon or myself with the details.

Here's the link to sign up!

Got my first hole sponsorship commitment. Dale Johansen will be sponsoring hole #5 at Walnut in memory of Dan Barnes who passed away this last weekend. Dan will be missed and I am sorry for the circumstances, but I am glad Dale stepped up on this.

My guess is yes, all divisions. Probably no Ewing because of the road construction on Indianola Avenue.

Would there be any thought in using a safari Heritage course over GV. Not that I don't love GV and I understand that GV is a local Des Moines course, but wouldn't a challenging Heritage layout provide a more competitive course for the Open and big boy divisions? Just curious

People must have looked at the scores the 'big boys" put up at GV last time it was used for the Challenge.....Using GV might be the only thing that can keep me from playing vs spotting this year

Why not just stretch GV? #1 long, #2 Island hole, #3 temp left on stump, #4 long, #5 long, #6 long with ob right, #8 left, #9 long, #10 left, #11 pad moved back left about 100 ft, #12 long, #13 long, #14 left, #15 long, #16 move pad back 60 ft with mando sentinel trees, #17 long, #18 plays to practice basket.

As far as Heritage, think about the drve between rounds from Ankeny to Indianola.
