I feel it's made life, work and dg much easier. At times my only gripe about it is I'm too sore and getting out of bed can be rough.

Also did a personal best of 335lbs dead lift today. Pretty sure I could have went 10lbs higher but I was almost passing out when I dropped the weight.

Do you do a conventional grip or mixed grip for deadlifting? And nice job on the 335.

Stay off pavement as much as you can. Rough on the hips, back and knees.

A bad day at disc golf is still better than a good day at anything else.... Unless its also disc golf

Going 4 to 5 days a week now. Plan to get at it even harder this winter...

This was my Wednesday workout

"PARTNER WOD"

Partner A Partner B

26- Power Snatch Rx135,90 - Wall Ball Overhead Hold
1200m Run - KB Front Squat Hold Rx45,35
450-Double unders- Shoulder Shrug Rx135,90
100-Med Ball Cleans - Banana Hold

followed by this yesterday..

"SWOD"

40-Bear Complex @ 70% Push Press Max OR!!! Heavier!!!
EMOM- 5 KB Swings Rx65, 45

*EMOM-every minute on the minute do 5 Kb swings and continue where you left off on the Bear Complex

In 15 months I had yet to DNF but I couldn't finish this workout. Hard as shiat and super sore from Wednesdays workout. Bear complex is Power Clean to front squat to push press to back squat to push press and drop weight. Got to 30 at 95lbs but this was 100% Awful.

Better make sure you get some yoga or an hour of stretching in every week. Xfit misses the boat on that and you don't want to wake up in March and be missing range of motion.

I started going to Anytime Fitness this week, and have been goign every night for 45 minutes to an hour. I'm quickly getting back in shape, and have even figured out how to use the "rack" to do a disc golf pull-through/strengthening move as well. I haven't talked with the trainer yet, but think a medicine ball will help that as well.

I had no idea you were doing all this, Joe. I seriously was worried you looked so gaunt last time we ran into each other. Then again, you could have been worried I was so fat, too! LOL
