I have. There is OB everywhere. It's not easy at all. Wind, super short grass, 400ft + shots and right to left shots with OB left on many throws. Whenever someone dominates like that it almost always looks easy.

I would have like to see Michael Jo's round at worlds, i think it was hornets nest? Lacing shot after shot through extreme tight woods....would be like taking 18 3's in a row on 15 at walnut with maybe a couple throw ins for deuce

I played it in 2003, not sure if there has been any changes or not since, but my round didn't quite turn out the same.

Those courses are fun to play, good change of pace vacation golf, but don't come close to what we have here imo.

Gross though. Dude is a machine.

He makes it look like about 12 holes around 400+ that he throws hyzers to straight shots. I would assume the top pros should shred a wide open pretty flat course.imo. i also heard there was little to no wind that final round, making that course alot easier.that being said 39is still a sick round.

That course is very very easy, with only like 1 ceiling shot and a little bit of elevation. They add OB to make it tougher, but its still easy. My parents live in Mesa so I have played Fountain Hills a couple different times.

That being said...an 18 on the back 9 for 9 holes? JFC....JFC

I can break this down if you really want to. The course has narrow landings near some baskets. Thats it...

There are like 2 placement shots on the whole course, and there is nothing to stop you from deucing almost anywhere, except yourself. Mock me all you want, I deserve it :P

Course is stretched out for Memorial, including 2 elevated baskets and OB lines. Have you played the long tee for hole 1? Have you ever played #8 on when they put it on the peninsula?

As a righty, if you miss a shot and hyzer out early on 15/18 holes out there, you are going OB and probably losing that disc.

39 is dumb.

Did anyone watch the video just posted of Will from hole 18 through the playoff? Someone had a camera rolling on him the whole time and they actually have him turning in the scorecard (and then later after they tell him about the scoring error). The video did cut some of the Prodigy celebration out though, I believe.

Has this course changed over the years? How many years have the top players been playing this same layout? What was the course record before this?

He shot an amazing round. Go to tourist and try and shoot in the 30's then come back and say how easy this course is.

I have played both of those shots, yes. I'm a scrub am player, don't get me wrong. Let me rephrase this...there is not a lot of trouble off the tee, just the landing zones which are really as tricky as you want them to be. You want easy deuces, they are hard. You dont want OB's you get longer putt attempts.
