+1!

It was a blast to get to play 13 in the long position again! The layout is great right now, with 6, 10, and 13 all long. Hopefully it can stay that way awhile, plenty of par3 golf at Turkey and Sugar.

BTW... Jimmy was out there giving up some of the best golfing weather ever, doing chainsaw work instead. Sorry I couldn't help more Jimmy, but it was the only night this week I could throw.

Pen is flooded with all this rain coming down and the snow to hold it up. I'd wait to play until it freezes or thaws completely. There is 8" of standing water on every hole, and the jump over the ditch between 1 and 2 is a doozy.

Found 3 more lost discs. All w/ numbers except a pink Nuke found on 14/15. Get at me.

Unless someone else lost one, I lost a pink nuke (maybe two!) last fall left side 14. Don't know if it had any ink on it, don't think so.

^ Martin Murray is the rightful owner of the pink nuke.

Jim, just go ride your fat bike around for a while on hole #14 and maybe you will find your nuke.

:)

Yes sir! Holler at your boy. I see that you got it from PIAS, though guy I called in New Mexico said I could keep it =)

Course is a little better, some holes are still completely under water, i.e. #3.

Went out this morning for a walkthrough, only found an
OLYMPUS CAMERA LENS COVER on 14 near basket. Probably belongs to a digital camera.

Didn't find anything else today. Heard there was a crew out yesterday (and another this morning)...if it was in the fairway, it's gone now.

We picked up some downed limbs today and swept off all of the tee pads. The course is in really excellent shape at this time.

Hole #13 is starting to flood. A tree has fallen in the #9 blue tee pad fairway. There is a tree down in the fairway at #11. There is a limb down by the red tee pad on #13. On hole #14 next to the short pin location a tree fell over and needs to be removed when somebody has some free time to assist.

Army Corps told me that water will probably be coming over the spillway at Turkey Creek by Friday. Dam out-flow is at maximum, which means 11-16 at Penn will be flooded. Supposed to rain all week. My guess is that these holes will be under water for a week.
